Whether you are new to solo travel in your 40s or always take a trip on your own, we have lots of tips to ensure your solo adventure is the trip of a lifetime.

1) Book pre/post accommodation in advance

Our itineraries include your accommodation and internal transport so you don't have to worry about where to stay the night. If you would like longer in our starting or ending locations, on most of our group tours you can book pre and post accommodation. This is a great way to get your bearings before you meet your group and get some quality 'me time' as a single traveller.

2) Learn some new words

Picking up some of the local language will really benefit you on solo holiday for over 40s. Learning to say hello, please and thank you will help you day to day and the locals will appreciate the effort.

3) Don't be scared
