2021 Safe Travel
Once travel starts again we will put your safety and wellbeing first and foremost. As we have always done, we will continue with our relentless pursuit of enjoyable yet safe travel at all times for our customers. Our safety checks and tour protocols will be enhanced and constantly monitored to further ensure that whichever tour you are on, in whatever part of the world, your travels with Tucan Travel remain as safe as they always have been.
Tucan Travel will:
- Constantly monitor both local and international news and advise your Tour Leader of any changes if necessary.
- Liaise with all service providers, staff and clients to ensure everyone is as informed as possible.
- Use pre-checked hotels, restaurants and excursions adhering to local government guidelines and regulations.
- Ensure that the group size is right for your safety, we have always run small group tours with an average of 10 to 12 travellers.
- Continue to offer fantastically low prices to book your own room should you not want to share with a fellow traveller.
Our Tour Leaders will:
- Brief everyone at the beginning of each tour and on arrival to each new location as to any specific or regional regulations and even local customs that may be in place.
- Advise on hand sanitiser and mask use and where to purchase extra supplies if you run low.
- Have updated lists and contact details for safe medical facilities and access to medicines.
We pride ourselves on delivering amazing adventures at amazing prices. The majority of our tours include a Local Payment which is paid on day one of the tour. This keeps the total tour cost down and gives you more time to save for your big trip.
