Day 1 - Arrive Cancún
On arrival, you will be transferred to your beachside hotel in Cancún. Cancún was once just a small fishing village and is now a huge resort famous for its beautiful beaches and electric nightlife.

Day 2 - Chichén Itzá & Merida
Your guide will take you around the magnificent Mayan city of Chichén Itzá. This immense complex has a surface area of 300 hectares, representing two different periods of Mayan history: one purely Mayan and other with a Toltec influence which is reflected in its architecture and sculpture. With your guide you will visit the Pyramid of Kukulkán, the Castle, the Ball Game, the Temple of the Tigers, the Sacred Cenote, the Building of the Nuns and the Temple of the Warriors.
This afternoon, drive to Merída, stopping en-route at the beautiful Franciscan monastery in Izamal. Mérida is a beautiful colonial city, with a charming zocalo for you to enjoy.

Day 3 - Uxmal & Campeche
This morning you will visit the ruins of Uxmal. Uxmal was once an important Mayan trading site and is now one of the best restored ruins in the Yucatan. Your guide will take you around the many pyramids before continuing to Edzná, another beautiful Maya site. Here you will see a number of excellent structures including the Grand Acropolis, with its unique five levelled castillo. Keep an an eye out for the detailed carvings on the stairs.
In the afternoon you will arrive in the colonial city of Campeche where you will have a orientation walk of the city. Stroll along the cobblestone streets and admire the historical walled old city.

Day 4 - Palenque
Nestled in the jungle, Palenque is home to spectacular Maya ruins. This afternoon you will have a guided visit of this amazing archaeological site. With your guide you will explore the fascinating pyramids and temples located here, learning about rise and fall of Palenque’s dynasty. Though not the largest of Mayan sites, Palenque is many people’s favourite. The architecture, particularly the ornate and well-preserved “Bell Tower”, is highly advanced, and its inscriptions and murals are some of the best in the Maya world.

Day 5 - Chicanna & Calkamul Biosphere
This morning, travel to Chicanna, located in the Rio Bec region. This area of Mexico is known for its distinctive architectural styles of Maya buildings, and there are dozens of small archaeological sites to explore. The next two days are spent exploring the group of sites known as the Calakmul Biosphere. Tour Chicanna, Xpuijl and Becan all showcasing the high degree of skill displayed by the Maya architects.

Day 7 - Playa del Carmen
Drive to the idyllic Riviera Maya, stopping en-route at the stunning lagoon of Bacalar. You will arrive at Playa del Carmen where you have the chance to relax at this slice of paradise. After a week of exploring, this is your free day to soak up the beautiful Mexican weather, and take a dip in the warm Caribbean Sea. Relax on the palm-lined beaches, dip your toes in the sugar-white sand and enjoy your final night at one of the many fantastic restaurants.
